A church friend sent this to me, can you help me out?
I need some help locating an old song and hoping that you can help.
I
remember most of the lyrics and I'm thinking it was recorded by either
the Nelons or the Hoppers. It was recorded in a 6/8 time having a swing
feel. The lyrics went something like...
"He's worthy, God'...s worthy. Almighty Creator, Alpha, Omega, Beginning and the End,
Wothry, Worthy, Lord God Almighty which was and is and is to come.
(chorus)
A-lle-lu-jah, A-lle-luuu-jah,
A-lle-lu-jah, A-lle-luuu-jah,
A-lle-lu-jah, A-lle-luuu-jah.
It
was sort of a 'round' kind of tune with just one verse and the chorus
sung with several key changes. I've had this tune in my head for months
and nobody sings this anymore. It's too bad because it's a great
opening for worship and could be made a choir piece.
Thanks for helping me.Read More
