I can't help noticing the use of the phrase 'nothing but' occurring in this conversation on health care. It's a good phrase -- if followed by 'et cetera'. Otherwise it makes nothing but trouble -- etc.! :)

Also I heard something from Jack Rice about Bernie Sanders pretending to make a stand on the public option, knowing full well that the bill will pass without him.

Indeed, by threatening to vote against a bill without public option, Sanders would be helping to deep six the public option, by making it necessary to get votes from elsewhere.
