Barry Schwartz Bernie Sanders OTOH was right that Bush wasn't worth impeaching, and I was way wrong. I wanted to impeach Bush mainly to avert catastrophe (as Justin Frank also felt), but sitting Bush out ended up being the prudent response. So Sanders has my respect, for a thing I hated at the time.

My problem with Dennis Kucinich is that he, I slowly came to realize, is appreciably less liberal than I am. I am using Thom Hartmann’s definitions, of course.
I believe that it is natural for people to be ‘good’; we need to tend to the social environment to bring it out in them.
Kucinich, ...on the other hand, is engaged in battles with ‘bad' people. His rhetoric focuses on bad deeds and their punishment. Like George W. Bush, another believer in ‘badness’, and not just coincidentally, Kucinich uses black-and-white, ‘manichean’ formulations -- thus a mediocre plan is ‘just’ a giveaway, while for me, the more liberal, everything comes in degrees. A mediocre plan, to me, means _people getting insurance_ by means of a giveaway. It is good in degrees, esp. in the WWJD sense.

I just loved your pre-Thanksgiving show. I am only able to listen on the internet and I found the information from Dave Graveline really informative and helpful. I would like more information on an internet radio. I don't really understand how it works. I love Amy Simon and would love to hear more. The adoption sh...ow was fascinating. I always enjoy your show but you have really outdone yourself the last two days. I have never written a talk show host before - but I had to let your know how great the past two shows have been. I like politics, but it is interesting to hear other things important to our lives as well.
