OK so I genuinely don’t think there’s been a month quite like July 2009. Talk about an emotional, physical and exhausting rollercoaster from start to finish…

ThePet.net Marc Abraham is going to be on channel 5 news this Monday, watch this space for more details.

If you like cute dogs then you're in for a treat. ThePet.net is proud to be organising the World's Biggest Puppy Party in order to raise awareness about the cruel and barbaric puppy farming industry in the UK.
Puppy Farms supply most of the UK's pet shops with pups as well as internet puppy sites and adverts in local f...ree newspapers.
Farmed pups are bred in battery cage-type conditions, are taken away from their mothers too early and as a result suffer serious health and behavioural problems which can rarely be totally fixed, and usually cost their new owner hundreds to thousands of pounds to try and correct.
The public need to know that if considering purchasing a puppy, always contact the Kennel Club for their list of recommended breeders, or consider getting a rescue dog.
We want everyone to come along and bring their (fully vaccinated) dogs for a fun day of puppy and dog events, and help raise public awareness of the darker side of dog breeding that not many dog-lovers know about.
Events will include a Celebrity Judged Fun Dog Show, Scrufts (Crufts for non-pedigrees), local pet businesses in the Exhibition Hall, and of course the World's Biggest Puppy Party and loads more fun attractions and activities for you, your family, and of course your dog!
To find out more, and to register for a free ticket to the event visit: http://thepet.net/puppyparty/about
See you there and remember, it's all to celebrate Puppy Farm Awareness Day, and all money raised on the day will go to 3 charities: Sussex Pet Rescue, Hope Rescue, and Pro Dogs Direct.Read More
