was enacted . I have used it myself . If one chooses to ignore tax breaks or laws designed to make the system even and fair then I do not know what can be done. This program is not just for seniors but everyone by the way . The state of Md ... Read Moregoes way out of their way to make sure that those that need this break try to get it and apply but many refuse to even look or throw the form away it is one page and takes 3 minutes to fill out and can save you 2 or 3 grand.
Go figure I do not get it?

I am not a California resident now. But, I lived there for a bit in the early 80s. But, I kept up with things. Anyway, I see the problem as not only Prop 13, but, also the Bush tax cuts from 2002. It has caused higher tuition everywhere. I owe thousands of dollars from when I went to ASU in Arkansas, a cheap state. The Bush Tax cuts caused budget ... Read Morecuts in all of the states. So, the states then had to do budget cuts which has caused so many problems in America. These range from higher tuition to laid off staff, faculty, and govt workers. Then, there is also our crumbling roads, bridges, dams, parks, etc. Sad. Is it time for another revolution? Because the politicians and their Corp, banker, oil, pharmacetical, and insurance buddies are ruling and ruining this country. And, they are more and more taking all of our rights and money. What does everyone see as a solution? By God, it is time to do something.

Glad you didn't quit FB Lori... I have had to delete a few myself... some people cannot debate diplomatically because they don't have the brains or education. And the word Fundamental is another word that scares me. Actually, our forefathers were very careful when they composed the constitution and there is no mention of GOD.. reason.. to keep church and state seperated so they wouldn't get into the same mess they escaped from in England... :>)
