I have heard / read that HE (Jesus) talks alot about $$$$... alot about $$$!...and giving to those who need it! That day ( @ Mars..) was so POWERFULL! How exciting to be part and witness such a MIRICAL!! But it must continue to go on! GO WHITE BUCKETS!........GOD, SO WORKS THROUGH HIS PEOPLE, to" help the poor and beaten down" > Johnny Cash.

This is an amazing act. This has been a major part of my families talks. I was there and all I can say is AWSOME. I have told everyone I know, I hope everyone passes the word and helps to make sure nobody walks away wondering where their next meal is comming from or how they are going to make it through the month.

Jesus talked more about hell than He did about heaven. He called the Pharisees "a brood of vipers" and "whitewashed tombs". I don't know what "jesus" you are following, but it's not the Jesus of the Bible. Besides, we don't condemn people...they already are condemned. They are condemned because they have broken God's Law. That's why they need ... Read MoreSALVATION. Besides, you are just pushing pragmatism, which is unbiblical. It shouldn't matter if it "works", it should matter if it's done in the "right way". God slayed Nadab and Abihu because the offered "strange fire" to the Lord...this God obviously cares about doing things HIS way, and not OURS. Again, read your Scriptures.

Jesus only talks about Hell a few times in comparison to talking about money, possessions and how we care for the marginalized. Andrew you are talking about Jesus and Mike was talking about a human talking about God. The major difference is obvious. Jesus had harsh words for the religious elite, not the people far from God.

Thank you Rob, I really feel validated because I have chosen to "just" be a mom. I feel the love of God flow through me when I tap into the mothering instinct. Thank you for explaining so clearly how God is that nurturer for us. It makes me feel closer to Him.

I went to school for a lot of years. There was high school, 4 years of college, 3 years of law school, accounting classes during law school, and classes towards ... Read Moregetting a LLM (masters in tax law). A couple of years ago I even took class in Auto Cad so I could read the building prints of a building we were erecting. In all of that education, not once did any one, at any time, tell me how to deal with a brain tumor. I never even knew someone on a close personal basis who had a brain tumor. This whole ordeal is a case of first impression on me.
