PBS Time Team America Thanks for all your questions about a TIME TEAM AMERICA second season! Exec Producers David Davis and Tim Taylor are pitching PBS next month. We'll post updates when we have them. Thank goodness archaeologists and their fans are so patient! Did you know that the Brits call Solitaire "Patience"? Here's more info on the game as we while away the hours.

Wisconsin would be a great place to do a show. Lots of early native populations here like the Woodland people and the Mound Builders.

Although, a dig in one of the old lead mining settlements in the southwest part of the state could prove very fascinating.

PBS Time Team America Save a few re-scheduled broadcasts for stations that bumped the Fort James episode, the Time Team America season is over for the summer. BUT, as a consolation, PBS is bringing you a 2 hour double episode of Time Team UK on Wednesday, August 19 at 8/7 Central. Stay tuned for more details!

PBS Time Team America What did you think of the Fort James episode this week? Many of the team has said this was their favorite. Was it the food? The Archaeology? The romance of the Wild West? Check out their thoughts and what's happened since we left on the Time Team America website.

I watched on-line last night and it was great! I read about this as a kid in school MANY years ago and had always wondered where it was located, since I lived within 20 miles of the site. Now I know the rest of the story. We visited the area in May 2009 and I drove right past the Hutterite colony that owns the land.

I am so facsinated and enthralled with every scrap of historical and archeological evidence, that each sow which I watched was filling my need for same. I truly hope that there will be more shows and more seasons.

PBS Time Team America reminds you to double check your local PBS listings this week. Most stations will air Time Team America Wednesday night at 8/7 Central, but some PBS stations are in their pledge drives, which upends the regular schedule. While you're checking, please consider supporting your local PBS station for bringing you television's best. Thank you!

The Nashville TN station has wonderful shows for the pledge drives - The Time Jumpers at the Station Inn is still my favorite followed by Dick Proenneke in Alone in the Wilderness. I just hope the fund drive it not tonight.

PBS Time Team America For most of the Time Team America shoots, there were modest hotel accommodations nearby for cast and crew. But Range Creek was so far removed that home base was a flat spot in the wilderness. Ah togetherness!

I wasn't sure I would like reality TV meets Archaeology but I must say it is done here in a great informative way, not cheesy superficial sitcom style. I really enjoyed the Topper episode as I have a friend who worked on it this summer. Hey Time Team I am on my way to slavia.org mortuary site in Poalnd but I'll catch the recorded episodes when I get back! Great Job!!!
