The health care bill could be looked at as a blitzkrieg on the american peoples' freedom, why do we have to do this right this very moment, why does it have to be rushed, and if the majority of the population is saying no to the bill why should it be passed? Many politicians need to learn to understand what the people ...are saying and not twist what they say, because if they are elected they need to do what the majority wants in an orderly fashion, not media dominating what we "should" do. We did not elect the media, that is why I am glad you are our governor and in the future possibly even more.Read More

Government sanctioned initiatives such as "health care reform" will ultimately lead to the complete loss of basic freedoms. I pity the citizens of those countries which offer universal health care, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security and similar programs. Do they not realize they are oppressed and living under a dictatorial regime?

Governor Pawlenty My nephew Bradley Tollberg is on his second tour of duty to Iraq. His grandfather Winfred Maynard Tollberg lost his long battle with cancer @ 1:30PM this past Wednesday. Bradley is grieving the loss of this hero in his life. He had to make the choice of giving up his leave (in which he would spend ...time with his wife-who is also on a second tour of duty to Iraq)or coming home to honor his grandfather by attending his funeral. Freedom to me is when a young serviceman who is on his second tour of duty, having seen countless of his comrades and friends die before his eyes, is not forced to make a choice between spending his leave with his new bride or honoring his grandfather at his funeral and burial. Please help Bradley come home and find closure on this man that he loves dearly. Thank you Governor.Read More
