Topeka, Kansas The two southbound lanes of Gage between 10th and 12th will be overlaid beginning today, Friday. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained through the project. Once the overlay work is complete, which is expected to be before Thanksgiving, the roadway will be reopened to two lanes in each direction during the winter months.

Topeka PD is attempting to identify two suspects who are believed to be involved in multiple felony theft cases. One of these thefts occurred at a local Topeka Wal-Mart store, where both suspects were caught on surveillance video. The 1st suspect is described as a white male in his forties with short hair and glasses. ...The 2nd suspect is a black male also in his forties wearing a red and blue jacket.
