So I'm reading this book named: In Search of Kazakhstan.

I just finished a chapter telling how the Tenge was secretly introduced into the countries economy within a week and the bits and pieces of the process involved.

It also tells of how President Nazarbayev and his Kazak hospitality saved the life of Boris Yeltsin and the coup that happened in Russia for the next few days.

Where would someone look for more about the birth of Kazakhstan so to speak and what was happening in both Russia and Kazakhstan during that timespan?
