Sorry I thought this thread was for suggesting topics, now I realize it's for panelists. Duh. How about... Rachel Weidinger (@rachelannyes) - she's really smart and knows the nonprofit world, or Tanya Tarr (@nerdette) - a very smart political organizer.

I would love to be on *any* panel at SXSW, especially yours, but it'll be 2 weeks before my due date and I don't want to risk giving birth in Texas! :-) Thanks for suggesting it, though. Maybe 2010 (I do have free Austin-based childcare).

Henry-I am nominating myself and hope that it's not too cheesy to do so. I have experience in marketing and social media. But as you know from working with me, I have a unique perspective about media, which is why I am throwing in my nomination.

I've built a brand with the words White Trash in the title...and my "whiskey tango" brand has helped further my career. It's weird but I think my experiences have shaped my opinions in a way that is unique. Thanks for letting me nominate myself and hope it's not too late.

I'm randomly dropping by and b/c she's right above me AND she's right, I'm nominating Michelle Lamar as well. Her blog http://www.whitetrashmom.com fits right with the concept of the humor and spice necessary to bring to the subject.

Personally, I think we're lucky and there are a lot of smart & savvy women in this arena who could add to the panel, but I'll be attending the panel either way myself. It's going to be a blast! There are a few too many worthy candidates this year - only happy not to be one of them myself!
