When you are sick, recovering or just don't feel like going grocery shopping it sure is nice to have lots of food in your house!

My pregnant cousin and her family were all down with the H1N1 flu and were ever so grateful they had their food storage. Not an everyday emergency, but something to think about~

i had two daily emergencies this week that required utilizing GO BAG food. the first was when my dd's head start park day breakfast was late in arriving. the children were starving! i ended up having to share some of my dd's food with her class.
the 2nd daily emergency came yesterday while waiting in line for the swine flu shot!!! i brought a chair and my teacher's rolling box filled with food, paper and crayons, and her teddy bear. she behaved pretty well. only a few times did she walk away from me saying, "come on mamI, lets go home."
