Totally Agree!! My holiday became almost 2 days shorter. They rescheduled my wee morning departure flight to late evening and AT THE SAME TIME reschedule my late-evening return flight to mid afternoon!!! So unethical!!!!

low cost airline and biggest saving airline in world.. what do you expected so much from airasia... Because of airsia we can travel more destinations ... After Malaysia have budget airlines, others people follow..... If you have so many complaint take MAS, Singapore airline or others GOOD airlines lo ...Do you think Tigerair or Jetstar better than airasia ...

I booked my CNY (Chinese New Year) trip with both Tiger (International flights) and AA (Domestic connecting flights). After the credit card confirmation, I received Tiger's confirmation email within 30min.

For AA, I have yet to receive any confirmation. Forget about calling their Singapore or Msia offices, they are UNMANNED...!!! Sent numerous emails but they all fallen into deaf ears...

So, tell me, what am I supposed to do now? It's a CNY trip and connecting flights. It's OK if AA rejects my service, I'll just have to fly with FireFlyz. But I am stuck here, coz AA can't confirm my domestic flights.

You do NOT have to tell me about budget airlines... Think about why AA doesnt have an office in Singapore... or do they have one? LOL...

to stephen lin. for my personal me more like jetstar afyter that airsia.tiger also ok.
But the service i say since our south east asia still under control onnot open sky,if open more burget airlineslike europe(example,ryanair,easyjet,germanwinf,vueling air,jet2,myair &more is many)
so that competition,in term of price and service can do more nice.

All asia,burget airlines(airasia,tigerairways&jetstar etc) promotion tiket can not change detail. this can do in europe. dun know why can not at asia.
In ryanair happen before last year(NOv08). Free flight just register take flight no need to pay anything also no tax is totally free. I take it before.
many friend not belive untill i show the prove.Sometime also can have totaly ticket just euro 1(no tax)
I dun think so will happen to asia
.I wish open more burget airlines company so that there all will not monopolize the route.
Only we can do is compare the airlines website fare only do booking.
burget not mean cheaper. sometime need to check all first.now many nasional airlines also give a good price.

Problem solved. AA returned my call and gave me the flight I wanted.
Eric Ng: agree with you. I was in my bad mood when I made those comments (right after 15 minutes waiting on the line - blame it on hormones). Actually, I've traveled many times b4 with AA and no prob at all. Will sure travel again with AA to loads of destinations with such low cost.
Jimmy Ng: AA - a bumi co? Do your homework pls b4 making any non-constructive-name-calling-school-boy comments. This is a discussion board. Not a grafitti wall. Better stick to your Tiger Airways. Stay away from AA or even Firefly(without the-z). We will definitely be happier without you being around.

me, my frens and my families been flying with airasia since 2002...averagely thrice a month and most of the ticket we bought are extremely and crazily very very cheap.... (come on la...who would offer u a flight that cost only RM9?)....and so far, I am very very satisfied with their service... (maybe because i understand that this airlines is SIMPLE, convenient and EASY. In other word, the more fussy u are, the more trouble u will get.... and i am not fussy...hehehe.... and for flying me so high and far...I would like to express my thanks to AirASIA. (Don't worry Airasia,though people love to talk bad about u, deep down they are still buying and as a loyal customer, I can see that your seats are always full everytime i fly with u )

I am frequent user of Air Asia and I am pissed off that you are charging Conveince Fee of RM10.00 for using Credit Card. How the hell are we to pay you other than by using Credit Card. I checked your homepage of Air Asia and there is no provision to contact you by e-mail. It is O.K. to expand and venture but you should be more reasonable as customers are getting pissed off as you are finding innovative way to fleese customers.

Sent email, never reply and I'm guess they even use a template to answer yr complaint as well!

i HAD BAD EXPERIENCE WHEN I WAS TRYING GET RESERVATION THROUGH SRILANKAN OFFICE AFTER I READ THE ADVERTISEMENT IN THE NEWS PAPER. THE PHONE WAS RINGING NO ONE ANSWER THE PHONE. I NEVER WANT TO FLY THIS AIRLINE AFTER I READ THE ABOVE COMMENTS AS I'M ONE OF THE TRAVELER AROUND THE WORLD

I have booked KL-Tianjin flight (Jan 2010) with AA. Now they cancelled the KL-Tianjin flight from 23 Nov 2009 - 1 Feb 2010 without sending email/sms to me. In fact, a few of my friends also affected, but NONE of them received any email/SMS notification. I called their hotline (for more than 10 mins) and request them send me official email about the cancellation coz I still can book from other alrline, was told that email will be send out "soon" (but not sure "WHEN"). This is what I got from the "Best airline of the year"??!!

Since my KL-Tianjin flight is cancelled by Air Asia, I called them to check what am I supposed to do with my connecting flight from Singapore to KL-LCCT. I was told that full refund is not posible even AA is the one who cancel the KL-Tianjin flight.

This is daylight robbery!!!

I am also an air asia customer and I felt very sorry for those of you who have been affected by the cancellation of Tianjin flights even though I didnt booked that flight.Mr Tony should have proper planning instead of taking people's money to roll for his businness. You know how much suffering these people have to go through. Everything that has been planned, leave that has been approved and deposits for tour arrangments and hotel that has been made have all been distrupted. As for refunds, who is going to refund all the money to them? By the way did anyone tried claiming from air asia travel insurance.? There is a clause there that states flight cancellation are insured in the policy too. That means whatever you have paid for will be refunded provided you have bought the travel insurance.

I fly with PRUDENTIAL team to Gold Coast by AA - X. Wa Lao Ye The seat is so hard and stiff. I really suffered during my trip. Because of that Our Management kena tiau max. So sorry AA and Tony keep on fly your kite with F1 team. If U dont concentrate AA will be like MAS. Malaysia boleh same attitude.

i had a bad experience when they reschedule my flight time. it is supposed to be a mrg flight but they changed it to nite flight, it cause my holiday become shorter :-(
