** Organize your scraps of paper into a usable system!
When you are cleaning up from a scrapbooking and/or card making project, don't keep any scraps of paper that are smaller than a standard photo mat (4 1/4" x 6 1/4"). Immediately cut any scraps that are that size or larger into photo mats. File them in a coupon saver style accordian file by color. You will always have plenty of photo mats on-hand and no messy scraps of paper crowding your space.

** Keep your acrylic stamps & blocks looking like new!
Each time you use your acrylic stamps, wash them with mild soap and warm water. Pat dry with a soft cloth & place back in their original packaging. A few inks, like Staz-On will stain the acrylic but not harm the effectiveness of the stamps. Wash your acrylic blocks with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser & they will look brand new!!

** Keep over-spray mess to a minimum!!
There are lots of fun new misting products on the market that will color your embellishments with paint and/or glitter. But what a mess they can make all over your workspace. Keep clean-up to a minimum and prevent ruining other parts of your project with overspray, use this trick. Simply place the object(s) -- such as chipboard letters -- into a deep cardboard box before spraying. No mess, no fuss!
