I too hate the new FB it's nowhere near as user friendly as the old one.

Whoever designed the new one should be sacked!

You messed up, and you certainly did NOT ask for much feedback from your users. I think you are going to really upset a lot of people and lose most of them to other social-networking groups that are more responsive and less high-handed.

The new version is unattractive, sprawling, and unflexible. I find I cannot minimize most of the features that I really hate! I find that I cannot minimize features that I love either. I feel like I have had any control at all ripped right out of my hands!

You have all made a very large and costly mistake. I promise you.

This version sucks! Apps don't work right, you can't arrange the page to look the way you want it to, I want my feed and my wall separate. What seriously was the need to redesign? who ever came up with this design has no clue what's going on.

GUYS YOU CAN ACTUALLY SWITCH BACK TO THE OLD DESIGN IF YOU DONT LIKE THE NEW ONE. Look at the upper right corner of the window and click "Back to the old facebook" See, no need to start a revolution. Just click and viola, all your problems are gone.

I hate it and don't wanna be forced into using it, which inevitably will happen.

I do not like the new layout it is very confusing and not as easy to navigate as the old layout.

No offense Gorce, but the ability to return to the "old" style that most of us are still using will only be available for a little while! -- a few weeks or maybe a month, if we get lucky.

Eventually Facebook plans to simply move everyone into the "new" look. They are not going to run two different styles, and they don't really seem to care that most of us users don't like the new format.

So, those of us who do NOT want to have to deal with Facebook's "new" version that Facebook has decided THEY want to use, will continue with the revolution.

None taken Kris! But again if you look at the upper right corner there's a button that says "Send feedback." Maybe it means that before making major changes, they want to check in with us users to see if we approve of the new layout or not. What we think must be important to them since we are facebook's users and we're the reason why they make such 'improvements' anyway.

So be sure to send your feedback there too! So we can make sure that they know we don't like it. :)

According to the note on 21st, we had a choice... er... when, how? I wasn't informed! Where the hell is everything? I had sorted my profile page quite nicely thank you, and now most of it's all vanished into thin air. The attempted explanation box thingies are as much use as a Microsoft Readme file... A little more consultation, or at least information, would have helped

The new layout of facebook is bad, it sucks.

Thanks Gorce. I did see the option to send them feedback, and I made sure I sent them many, many points about how the application didn't work well. I am still able to use the return button also, but Failbook has NOT told us when they expect to switch -- so that means my time on my old version is probably limited.

It is important that we get Failbook to REALLY pay attention to the complaints -- not just pay "lip-service" and then switch everybody over regardless of the serious complaints.

My only way to protest will be to complain here and everywhere....and if they switch, I will then leave. So much for the advertising money that they want my membership to generate.

So yes. One can go back to the old page, but soon that ability will disappear forever when they switch.

I have changed it to the old facebook as I can't see my applications and it's really bland...But now I am thinking that maybe I will want to turn back to the new one...Now, I will not have the chance to?

Change it back to the old layout.. it was way better! The layout is all over the place and you cant access thing as easy!

The new facebook is ugly and complicated.

So confusing, and it looks all stretched out. tried it for a few mins and instantly hated the new change. Happy with the way things originally were. I hope they will always give us the option to keep the old facebook.

I hate the new facebook..... I lost all this stuff on my page and the new layout sucks. It's really hard to find everything too
