dreams of houses with ivy and round windows. the list of things that sound nice (tyres on gravel, opening of cold can, etc) simple pleasures like running into crowds of pigeons and sharpening pencils in an automatic pencil sharpener, when sam notices fun things in the street, aeroplanes, baking cakes, beautiful baby sisters, balloons, beluga whales, buttons, the letter b, loving my family, music that makes me want to dance hard and grin big, cats, LOADS OF THINGS. x

When I see an elderly couple walking down the street still holding hands with eyes only for each other.
When kids talk to random people and smile that big toothy grin :D
A really good book.
When my mum's being cheeky and trying to tell me off for something I didn't do.
My parents, generally. They're crazy people.
There's more but I can't think of it right now..

when my cat wakes me up by rubbing his face round mine.
getting a present that i didn't even ask for but is WELL good.
ooh! when i tell someone about something that's happened to me, then i completely forget that i've told them and don't even regard it as an important story, then they reference it weeks/months later in conversation.
having marmite in the cupboard.
recieving unexpected messages.
real life cockneys who call you 'treacle'.
using theatrical gestures when there is no need for it.
when i make some obscure observation and i tell someone and they completely get it.
bubblewrap.
when i look at your phone after work and there's more than one message.
sitting on a chair what my legs are too short for so i can swing 'em.
walking along a wall!
when someone really likes a band i've played to them.
beanburgers and mayonaise.
when the suns so bright, it blinds me.
getting away without a ticket.
keeping secrets - fun secrets, not horrible ones.
dresses.
bumping into people in places i'd never expect to see them.
recieving packages.
having my duvet on the sofa.
vinyls.

it seems we have an "amelie" fan amongst us. if so then there are at least two! it sure is a pleasure, breaking the sugar on top of crême brulee. that movie makes me smile. pomegranates and starfruit, too. a glass of water after eating pomme frites and ketchup. my former, very witty, english teacher. intricate tee shirts. chinese tea kettles. intelligent squabble. big cities. little villages. many a thing.

The word "Plop". I don't know why, it just makes me chuckle. It's not used enough in everyday conversation.

Bookbinding. Cracking toast. And most recently, when the four-year-old I babysit started singing the "Spiderpig" song.

they had a feature similar to this!

another caller said cleaning here ears with cotton buds - which i agree with!

This makes me smile/laugh. It's cute but there's one really cute moment near the end. I'm enjoying this group, especially as the dissertation is horrid and evil.

Cuddling, kissing, hearing a song and feeling like someone is thinking about you, being silly, staying up all night laughin with your dad and your brothers ex girlfriend, kids, affectionate patting (the kind that say exactly what you mean without words), having to run up a flight of stairs to get my phone and it actually being someone you want to talk to.

My hamster pulling faces
Watching trees move in the wind
Watching snow fall while lying on the bed/sofa with someone I love
Drawing better than expecting
Turning on my fairy lights
Hearing someone say thank you for what I've done

a beautiful sky, the sound of rain on my window while i'm inside cuddled up into a nice warm blanket, the smell of freshly cut grass, any smell that reminds me of home, lighting up candles in my room and lying on the floor dreaming away
:)
