Here is my story:

I had a badass level 70 warrior. Completely fury specced at one point and could beat the shit out of most classes within under 10 seconds.

Sad thing is I ended up playing this character (both when I started him and at 70) so much that I began to neglect better goals in life. Like my schooling, a girlfriend and at one point was even considering ditching my friends for a raid. Miraculously at this point some weird credit card issue arose at Blizz HQ and my account was locked out. For a while I was ready to pay Blizzard whatever amount they were asking me for; I had the whole money order and everything set-up. But something in me nudged me to look at all that this game had caused in my life.

In the summer of 2006, I had set a goal for myself to gain weight, since I am severely underweight and at that time I was taking a break from WoW. I was eating healthy, taking protein shakes and all. Not to mention I was going to the gym for a good 2-3 hours a day. I gained 15 lbs. in one month. But as soon as I got back to playing WoW, I started going to the gym maybe once a week if I decided to go.

I also flunked out of college because of World of Warcraft and my film career has been set back two years. I had made the decision in the fall of 2006 to go to night classes and try to get back into school that way. Well, it just so happens that, instead of going to class I would spend money at an internet cafe to play WoW. I think I spent around 300$ in 2 months and also dropped out of night classes. My parents had paid 500$ total for the night classes and around 1000$+ for the earlier schooling that I dropped out of. They had also bought me a Mac because they saw that I was really stoked about making movies and being involved in the arts.

It's safe to say that World of Warcraft, on top of the monthly fees, has literally cost me and my parents a lot.

I just quit around 2 and a half weeks ago and have been eating healthy again... or trying to and trying to regain all the weight I lost from not eating and just playing World of Warcraft. I lost 20 lbs over the course of 4 months and now weigh in at around 115 lbs.

I'm aiming for 180 lbs by the end of 2007. I should hope to hit 160 lbs.

I'm also going back into school and will be studying in the media arts.

I'm also gonna get a fucking girlfriend. Holy shit. I need one so bad. :P
