Are there any other losers out there who don't drink or party, but still like to have fun? Often at the mall or with House DVDs? We can all do lame things on the weekends... ♥

I'm not associated with the hardcore punk movement straight edge is involved in. I also have no idea what the other parts of straight edge philosophy are. But the x on the hands do look cool...

im totally up for partying but i just dont do any stupid crap, like drink until im passed out

i never really partied in high school, so i want to in college, but i'm always up for some House-watching :]

I'm definitely not a drinker or a big partier. So I'l be there for any House-watching parties! I have Lost season 1 on DVD if anyone else watches that, too. We'll have some good times, don't even worry about it. :D

I don't drink, smoke, or party, but don't plan on being strict about it. I think I'll drink and/or party when it feels natural, and I'll never smoke. And I don't really care of other people drink or party, as long as they're responsible.

yeah i am a huge loser. but i sort of like it that way. i am healthier and more productive than if I were to party. IThaca is a bustling place filled with shit to do, and we cant spend the rest of our lives getting tanked on the weekend-why not start having fun in other ways now?

yeah, i'd say that this would apply to me, though i'm definitely willing to get a bit into partying, but nothing stupid like passing out or smoking, not my thing at all

yeah but it is hard to "party" per se if you are not drinking because most people are doing stupid shit and you just end up watching them....i have been to bonfires and shit where people hang out and drink but its uncomfortable to not be drinking in a situaition where everyone else is getting itoxicated

However...being sober while everyone else does stupid crap has the oh-so-lovely perk of being able to document said carousing and later blackmail people. Not that I'd do that to someone...

Probably applies to me :D Considering I have no desire to drink, do drugs, smoke or... anything like that really... even party. Not that I have anything against it, it's just not something I've ever had a desire to do.
Sitting inside and watching marathons aren't my cup of tea either, just because I get antsy... I haven't been able to sit through an entire movie in... quite awhile actually. Tea, however, is my cup of tea. So is exploring and hiking and walking about, especially in cities, so if anyone would be interested in doing that instead... :DDDD

Hmm, that thought hadn't even occured to me, joining the club sounds like a great idea!

I am definitely straightedge and LOVE House! But I am also into playing "board games" (Apples to Apples, Balderdash, etc.) and random dance parties.

speaking of House when does the 3rd season DVD come out? I missed alot of the episodes the first time they were aired so i'm watching them online.

Apples to Apples is the besttt. Actually, board games in general are the best. As are dance parties. Wow, we're gonna have a lot of fun being losers. All those other kids don't know what they're missing.

I find laughter more rewarding if it is caused my things such as being sleep deprived rather than being wasted (although I must say I do not know from experience but do not need to either.)

I say we do it. We should have a wicked awesome party during orientation to combat all the "regular" parties that are going to be going on. It'll be a good time.

I don't drink, smoke or do drugs only because I know that they aren't right for me. I haven't, however, ever had a problem with being the only sober one in the room, but that might just be because my friends understand my feelings. Apples to Apples is the best board game ever and dance parties are always fun. So pretty much as long as I'm not drinking or doing drugs I'm up for anything.
