in terms of keeping the link accessible, i sent farouk, the creator and admin of this group, a message about trying to make the link more prominent. i suggested he put it as a link in the "recent news" section or even in the description of the group. i also requested he email the entire group with the announcement as well. i think this idea that you came up with is really great and important, but i'm also worried that the link (and thought) will get lost in all the other discussions.

To answer your question...I think others may have done what I did. I gave $75.00 after Obama's speech. I clicked the donate button on the home page. I will make all future donations from this sight.
