Google of course. Several links about desis in news would point to SM. The farthest I can remember is Kids in Spelling Bee, Kaavya and other such news links. Summer 2006 I discovered SM.

All paths lead to the Mutiny... or at least all brown-related Google searches! It WILL take over the world, one procrastinating desi at a time...

I found it fragrant, slightly overcooked and smothered in a sumptuous gravy that was almost, but not entirely unlike, curry.

Though I'm not proud to admit it, I'm pretty sure it involved googling the word "kundi".

I have no recollection as to how I ended up at Sepia Mutiny, but it's been a lasting love affair of two years so far. :)

I was googling "Indian men are mama's boys" (I wasn't in the best of moods at the time!) and ended up at SM. I'm not sure what the article was, but I'm sure it was a good read, because I am still reading almost two years later.

Pretty sure it was through Badmash, which I saw featured on the International channel, neither of which even exist anymore (as far as I know).

I ventured in via a google for "rajni kanth" films....but, have found it to be a wonderful insight into desi culture...SM has answered many questions about things that I was curious about.

I've been been reading it for about four years. I came across it through a link on another website--something to do with some 9-11 related anti-Indian crap, as I vaguely recall.
