Do you think Caroline Really Showed the Book?

I don't, I think she was sticking up for Dina. Either way both of them are fabulous. What do you think?

I think they behaved like they were in high school. If Caroline really showed the book, then OK. But why 'take up' for Deena? Why would Deena allow it to happen?
Why would they pressure Jacqueline to choose between friend and family? Can't she have both?

Caroline might have found out about it (if she has connections like Bernard Kerik, she could), and she might have initially had it. But her sister spread the news like Paul Revere. Remember the finale when Dina denied having it in her hands? That's all she was saying--that it wasn't in her possession. It was a diversionary argument. A technicality. When Caroline said SHE was the one who had the book, Dina looked guilty and said between her teeth, "Caroline!" and Caroline told her, "Who gives a sh*t? I had the book." That meant, "I'll take the fall, I don't care."
And which story was true anyway? That all 3 of them discovered the book together, or that Caroline and Dina did? Now Caroline and Dina's argument was that Jacqueline wasn't there so she doesn't know what she's talking about, but at first it was that all of them discovered it together. That's how I know Caroline is covering. Maybe fighting for your family is admirable (although lying is not), but they sure didn't fight for Jacqueline.
One last thing: Caroline said she wanted to investigate this person who was around them, Danielle. Then she said that this was none of her business and that she could care less. Let's be honest: I like the mother and wife Caroline is, but she's a bully who covers herself in principles. People say they relate to her and would like to be her friend. Face it, she "would hate you before (she) likes you," people.

Kimberly I really like your take on the incident. It makes sense that Caroline physically found the book and had it, but that Dina spread the story. I keep going back to Dina and how unhappy her life seems to be. Do you notice that in the beginning credits her husband Tommy is not in the photo. I wonder if she is having trouble in her marriage. Albert, Caroline's husband and Tommy's brother is there. I remember that before Dina married Tommy he cheated on her. I wonder if Dina thinks or knows Tommy has cheated on her with Danielle...wow wouldn't that be something.

Eh, I've wondered the same...but a nice lady from Texas corrected me. She's probably right. Wouldn't that be something, though? If Tommy Manzo wants to lower his profile, hmm, okay. Let's see if they address that on the reunion show.

I just think t was both of them together.... I think they both found it and both showed to everyone..... Caroline is just being the protective older sister... and took the heat... typical Jersey family... My sister would of done the same thing for me.... If someone was accusing me...

That is so True! They continue to say how they don't care about Danielle and how they can't "stomach her," but they went out of their way to go online and find this book to show it to people. It seems like they care about it to me. I like al of the housewives but I also like Danielle. I mean she can be annoying at times but If I were in her shoes and everyone were talking about m e nehind my back but then wanted to invite me to a dinner, I think I probably would have done the same thing. Maybe would have handled it a bit better but I would of been just as upset as Danielle was.

I DO think Caroline had the book first! Remember when she said that she didn't like that Jacqueline was spending so much time with this woman (Danielle). She Godfatherishly went on to say that she'd find out about her. Methinks Caroline googled Danielle's name and google led her to the book.

I like Caroline and if she did show the book to people then good she confess in front of everyone. She did say she wanted to investigate about Danielle. I'm still not sure on the whole thing if she did or not.

TO be honest it really dont matter who showed the book. The way they spoke to her more, showed what they think of her and she needs to pull back from them and live her life. Why do she have to explain her pass to them? Who are they? What bothered me the most is that they did it in front of her kids.

Caroline was covering for Dina. Dina was pretty nervous and Caroline, being the eldest (I am the eldest) took the heat off of her sister which I respect and can relate to coming from an Italian family and having a younger sister as well. I can recall a few times going to bat for my sister when she was threatened. I was just like Caroline, nobody messes with my family! Italian families are "thick as thieves" and nobody better say anything about my family. I am glad though that Jacqueline spoke up and told the truth. For Caroline to use her parents to shame Jacqueline, telling her "you are hurting my parents" when she told the truth about who was parading around town with "the book", shame on Caroline. Just take the heat and don't try to make Jaceuqline feel guilty.

I do not think Caroline is the type to go about gossiping. I think her cheeky little blonde tart sister showed it and could not handle the heat. Maybe Caroline found out about it but her sister definitely had a party with it. Also, little miss blonde is not as "young" as she sees to think she is.

I didn't pay attention during the first episode, but what did they say about Danielle's children's father? I know they are involved in a nasty divorce, but I thought they mentioned a little more.
I read a few lines from "Cop Without A Badge", online. Kevin Maher said that he thought he was Danielle's first husband. After they were married he found out she was still married to her 1st husband. He said Danielle was wild and a sexual thrill seeker...lol... When he met her she had been psychologically scarred since childhood.
She probably did more than get arrested and change her name, but it doesn't matter. The "Girls" doesn't like her and hey they have their reasons. If Danielle is really Jacqueline's friend she should stop trying to make her take sides. Jacqueline has a husband who loves her and 2 kids and 1 new baby. THE END

I think Caroline initially showed it then Dina probably passed it around the salon also. I think Caroline is hard-core enough to where she would have made Dina confess it if she did it...she is a no bullshit type of person.
All in all...Danielle had some brass balls bringing that book to a lovely dinner party that Theresa was kind enough to invite her and still keep an open mind to her. If I were Theresa I would not have flipped the table, I would have beat her ass ruining my party. Danielle showed NO class what-so-ever doing that. I think Danielle is a coniving, manipulating bitch that wants Theresa's, Dina's and Jacqueline's husbands and money. Can't wait for these sex tapes to come out soon from that ass Steve she dated. Also, her kids act like they are so grown up, she needs to let them be kids.

All I will say is I strongly believe that Caroline did NOT FIND the book. I believe she contributed to showing the book around the town, but I feel Dina (who hasn't done a good job of hiding her undeserved hatred towards Danielle) directed the whole "drama". As Jacqueline said, Dina was looking to find some dirt about Danielle for the mere reason that she just didn't like her.. she succeeded in finding the book , she called Jacqueline up excitingly to dish dirt about Danielle, and then I believe that both Caroline and Dina proceeded to show the book to the rest of the town. However, it makes Caroline out to be a liar for taking entire blame for the finding of the book in the first place and showing it to the town. Dina is a liar and a COWARD because she's obviously lived her life being co-dependent on her Overbearing high strung older sister who is also a bully and always takes the fall for her. I think Caroline and Dina's ideals of being "thick as theieves" and their mafia-like views on how a family should be is far from what a healthy family really is. It is one thing to be loyal, and quite another to enable your family to go around town trampling on a person's reputation with a slam book like you're in high school.
In my opinion, Dina has no integrity what so ever, she took no responsibility in the whole showing of the book and showed her true colors - she's a gossiping spineless wimp who goes around spewing bad about people because she knows her "family" will defend her. Caroline should get off her high horse because with her sick mentality of covering for everyone's dirty little secrets in her family, all she is doing is creating fork-toungued monsters that hide behind the "leader of the pack". Caroline- go get some help !
And I will conclude this with one last statement- If Dina and Caroline didn't want any drama, or to be called out on their shit, they shouldn't have started the whole damn thing. If they were honestly concerned about Danielle being a potential danger to them, they should have been the big girls they claim thmselves to be and went to take it up with Danielle! but they didn't because they would have rather just showed it to the whole town behind her back, and never be called out on it. Well it backfired and Danielle did the right thing! Go Jacqueline for telling the truth~ and Teresa... you are just dumb

LOL, Susan! I think Theresa WOULD HAVE whooped Danielle's behind had she not been held back and dragged outta the room. Had Theresa gotten to her, Danielle would need more than botox to sort her face out!

I didn't read the book, but I read newspaper article accounts. It was Kevin who had another wife. Both Kevin and Danielle were questionable people and criminals. Both had no problem lying to get what they wanted: money, sex, and drugs.
It was written by a third party. The book is really about Kevin, and Danielle is a secondary character. Whoever reads all of it, let us know.
Come on, Reunion Show. We're waiting...

Why is everyone forgetting that the 'dinner party hosted by Theresa' was the SEASON FINALE paid for by Bravo TV. Danielle was there with her book in tow for the PAID drama. I don't think the show is scripted but I think the whole scene was. I think Bravo TV found the book and planted the seed with the 'family'.

Another FAN mentioned this as well, Danielle's purse was not big enough to put the book in. Someone from the show had to organize it. The seating arrangement had to be planned, so Danielle would know where to sit so she could look down and pick up the book....maybe..lol.

If I'm not mistaken didn't Danielle INSIST that her kids stick around? "They" didn't do anything around the kids--Danielle did. Teresa didn't want the kids around the nonsense that was about to happen.

Yeah, totally. Both Dina and her did, I'm sure of it. Like someone else said, Caroline has ties with Bernard Kerik. He's a slimeball too. None of the girls handled the situation maturely. Danielle should've just said, "Look, you all are spreading shit about me. I don't appreciate it and would like you to apologize and stop talking about me." If then she gets a negative response, then she would be justified in starting the drama.
