We recently released Tower Bloxx Deluxe for XBLA. So I moseyed on over to MobyGames to add it to the catalog if it had not already been done so. Unfortunately it had been listed under the name "Tower Bloxx Deluxe 3D".

"Ah, a simple mistake - I'll soon remedy that!" I thought to myself. So I filled out the form to make an "edit", fixing the fact that the name was incorrect, amongst a few other things in the description of the game which listed the game modes also with incorrect names and was missing a few as well.
Then I get a response from the admin: "It looks like the iPhone "in-game" title does contain the 3D designation (source). If there are differences between versions/platforms, they need to be explained in the description."
So not only was my name fix rejected, but in addition, my corrections to the description were completely ignored.
To me the fact that the game "looks the same" is not a sufficient reason to reject my edit. Especially considering the fact that in my original edit notes, I also recommended Mobygames check the name from the Digital Chocolate website or xbox.com themselves for proof.

But, if "looks the same" is a valid enough reason to give a game a name, then I ask why they didn't instead name it after the PC version which is also called "Tower Bloxx Deluxe". In fact the XBLA and PC versions share some of the same assets where as the XBLA does not with the iPhone version:

So, I responded, giving further "proof" that the name does not have the "3D" in it anywhere and was ignored. In fact, when I went to try to add another comment I was received by a message:
"You do not have the authority to make changes to the selected object. "
Thus, I have no choice other than to come here, humbly asking that you correct the name of our game.
Please. Pretty please?
Thanks in advance!
