Well October is Creole month the world over, what can we do to promote it in Trinidad.

UWI is having a small Library expo - we should really do something national.

Gayelle and Ministry of Culture. Looks like we'll have to plan 2010, since no funds or programming could be allocated at this stage. Could ask the newspapers to do a write up - anyone have any contacts?

I personally would like to see Jounen Kwéyòl celebrated in Trinidad!! as it would do a lot to de-stigmatize the language and that can only be a good thing.

On October 12th, the rumor is they will have a gathering here in Venezuela. It seems that a few Creole speakers will attend it. As it has become customary, I might get a confirmation a few hours before the event.
