Wow, lots of new ideas in this one! I'd love to play it, but I'm not buying a Wii for it. I wonder if it's exclusive?

If they only concentrated on one game at a time (instead of Wii, Iphone, PC & Xbox360) than may be we would have a working version of W2:A?
Even if they use seperate teams for each, they could of all been used to do one at a time properly!

This title has given me a reason to keep my wii now and dust it off for some good old worms action even though i already have w2:A on xbla. Good to see team17 give some wii love too ;-) he sound in the video was a bit off putting but atill looks a top notch game and no doubt will be just as fun as the xbla versions. Is it gonna be wiiSpeak compatible at all?
Damn team17 for realeasing soo many good games close to each other, i still need to get Alien breed and now this not cmplaining though ;-)

no wonder why the PC version of W2:A has been taking so long...

The content of this game is not exclusive.

Any plans to port it to another system eventually?

I can't comment on this just yet, should be able to do so soon.

im putting my money on a ps3 release, despite me having no interest in putting any of my money towards a ps3...

That would be great. I've got quite alot of Worms buddies on ps3, and most of them feel neglected by Team17.

Team 17 just a bit off topic, i am getting a new xbox or PSP for Worms! If you could just confirm a new Worms for the PSP it will make it easier for me to decide. Just a yes or no?!?

"there's a new Worms for Wii, and PSP and probably Dsi" Considering that interview was 2 months ago, maybe someone could elaborate a bit?

Steve, can't say much more right now, but the quote above is now out of date.

Interesting. It's confirmed for Wii, and a piece I read (link below) makes it seem as though the Dsi version is set to launch. Hopefully what changed is that it's coming to PS3 instead of PSP. At least then we'd know the servers would stay up!

That's too bad, I was really hoping for some PS3 love. Considering that the timed exclusivity deal with M$ could keep W2:A out of PS3 gamers' hands for another year and a half ( if the first Worms is any indication) it would have been awesome to have something new to hold us over.
Are any steps being taken to ensure that the online doesn't get pulled on us like it did for Open Warfare 2?

Online being pulled was purely down to our publisher at that time. Since we're publishing WBI, the online stays in.
There will be stuff for PS3, don't worry. The delay on the first game is not any indicator of any exclusivity period.

But please no PS3 exclusive Worms... I'm collecting the games and a PS3 is so extremely expensive I wondered how ANY people had the money left to buy it...
And... What the? The internet play disappeared? How could this happen? Somehow I'm glad now I bought it for Nintendo DS... ;)

Ageed I am VERY eager to buy this game. I just bought Worms: A Space Oddity as a filler to try to fill the void til Battle Islands comes out. It looks AMAZING!!! Good job Team 17
