I loved how both sides talked smack to each other (but in a funny, joking way). Great show!

That Scisori was nasty! I'm obsessed w/ Indian Katar & Pata & that thing was just a more brutal variant on the idea.

I was definately excited to see the Cestus discussed. I have an Indian (India) version of the same & I definately started paying more attention when they were playing w/ it.

the scissor to me was a death trap because u added more wait to an already heavy warrior and thus the apache could move even faster than the gladiator

You're such a dumb little kid, gladiator's were far from weighted down....

...did u not notice thru out the episode that the Apache was ALWAYS way faster than the gladiotor...i dont mean heacy as in weighted down i mean heavy as in heavy on his feet...its kinda sad that ur arguing angrily with some1 on the internet even more so that its a kid younger than you

I'm not angrily arguing I'm debating there sport...when you grow up you'll learn to not fly off the handle so quickly..I said you were dumb in relation to how you've been treating my other topics responses..you know giving you a taste of your own lack of self-restraint..

The gladiator wasn't trying to move faster because he was over confident and thought he was going to win..thinking it was only a matter of time before the Apache got tired...and apparently was too confident..and lost..also the reason why The Gladiator let the Apache up after only punching him twice, instead of consistently punching him to death....he was being sporting..like a gladiator...and greatly underestimated the Apache's abilities..

Explain how the Gladiator, of which usually only wore a helmet for protection (among other things) is a heavy fighter.

the expression "heavy Fighter" doesn't mean weighted down or has alot of weight to carry, it means MOVES in a heavy way (IF you have taken a Martial Art you would know what i mean) For example, a heavy fighter uses slower blows with more weight behind it (like the gladiator) a Light fighter (Like the Apache or the Samurai) are lighter on their feet and use faster and more precise strikes. THAT'S what a heavy and light warrior is.

OH and by the way, the "simulation" (i read ur other posts and i know u dont like the way the word is used) is meant to entertain or give u a rough idea of how the weapons were used against a human, and besides, would any1 still watch the show if there was no "simulation" at the end?

I'm pretty sure what determines whether or not a fighter is heavy or light is the weaponry they carry. A Gladiator can still be light, hence why I asked you to explain it. What you are talking about is...well, irrelevant.

Most probably would even if the reenactment was not there.

again...i'm talking about the stylistic meaning of heavy and light warrior / fighting, in martial arts being a heavy fighter is to be anchored and generally slower movement but to have strong blunt force behind your strike, a light fighter is some1 whos more on the ball of their feet and has faster more precise strikes...i dont mean heavy as in lots of weapons and armor. We saw during the knife Demo by Snake Blocker that he was fast and precise in hand-to-hand knife techniques and with throwing the knife, that's a light fighter, we saw with the gladiator we saw more slower and stronger (= blunt force) usage of the gladiatorial weapons.

One example of light and heavy warriors that i learned from my karate teacher was a Sumo as a heavy warrior, not for being large and slow, but for using more brute force, an example for a light fighter was a ninja, for being fast and precise.

I saw some people saying the gladiator was over confindent but the simulater doesnt apply that so thats not true in this case the simulater puts the 2 warriors at their best with the weopens they are equiped with the apache won the gladiator lost even at his best so get over it
