To The Fallen Records Here's the story...

When starting TTFR, Sean and I visited a SCORE counselor in Newport, Rhode Island. Our counselor had an office in the basement of an old Victorian home. It was December, pitch dark, and we had to walk around the back of the house to knock on the pseudo-office door. ...

To The Fallen Records Megan wants to know what she should put in a care package for her boyfriend. Any suggestions? I vote "no" toothpaste, dental floss, or anything else hygiene-related that he can get in a PX. I swear my mom sent me over 7,345 toothbrushes! I suggested TTFR CDs, but of course I am extremely biased! What other suggestions do you guys/girls have? - Sean

Lots of hard candy, that will keep their mouths from drying out so badly. Also, the small packages of water flavoring will be a sure hit! Every time my husband filled his canteen, that propel was right there in it. Also their own very soft toilet paper. And of course lots of cards that have your favorite cologne sprayed on... he'll so appreciate that!
You all are in my prayers!!!

Megan Bossie I was wondering if you knew of any really good things to stick in care packages. My boyfriend has been deployed for a month now and I have no idea what to put in the care package

I might be biased, but I think TTFR CDs are probably the greatest care package stuffers known to man!

LOTS of DVDs, the travel/microwavable food such as ravioli or soup (beats MREs and chow hall), easy to carry snacks like jerkey or tootsie pops. Every 2-3 months (ish) send a package of hygiene items so he doesn't have to buy the crappy px stuff. Any hand held gaming items are always great, photos too.

To The Fallen Records Good post on profit-sharing today by Sidney. A really simple concept, but one that shows a lot of belief in trust in the label by the artists, and vice versa.

Hannah Cord Baker Thank you for putting together this album. My brothers have a track or two on there, and I'm really proud of that almost as much as their service to our country. They are my heroes.

That great to hear, Hannah. Tim and Dan are great marines. They are all good guys in "American Hitmen" actually. Definitely one of the most talented bands we have here on the label. - Sean

To The Fallen Records Sidney's blog today talks about sticking to your niche. Excellent advice to artists. It reminds me of one of my top 5 books of all time, "The 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing: Violate Them At Your Own Risk!". Definitely worth reading for anyone, regardless of your type of work. Highly recommend it. Check out her blog when you have time.
