Wow! Love your app! Unfortunately I just discovered it today after already visiting 5 different countries across 2 continents over the past 2 months... Now, I wish I could go back.

        • TrackMyTour Glad you love the app! TrackMyTour lets you retroactively add waypoints, so you can still build up a map of your trip! Enjoy the holidays from the TrackMyTour team!

        • Angela Dunn Yes, but it's difficult to find so many small cities and venue locations across so many large countries with just the little crosshairs dot. If I could key in longitude/latitude of my addresses it might help. Right now, I'm still searching for my first location way back in Germany and I'm over in Villorba, Italy at the moment.

can I change the order of my waypoints? I forgot to add couple of them in the middle....

            • TrackMyTour Hi Priyanka, yes.. The order of waypoints are based on the date. If you edit a waypoint (tap the blue > icon in the waypoint list), you can change the date, and thereby change the sort order.

        • TrackMyTour v3.4.0 is now available on the App Store! This release lets you edit map details from within the app, mark other tours as "favourites" (replaces the old method of "following" users), runs faster, and has some minor interface tweaks. Enjoy!

          • TrackMyTour v3.4.0 is going through testing and is nearing completion. One of the major changes will be how you follow the tours of other users. Instead of following users you now directly mark a map as a favourite to have it listed in your Favourites.

Performance is also much better among other improvements to the user interface. We hope to have this released before the end of August.
          • TrackMyTour v3.3.0 is now available on the App Store! This version supports a number of great new features:

            - landscape mode!
            - full screen browsing (iPhone)
            - map lines to connect waypoints
            ... - improved help text
            - selective twitter
            - improved comment input
            - simple notification of new comments
            - lots of great UI fixes

As always, be sure to submit all Draft Waypoints before upgrading. Enjoy!

            • TrackMyTour v3.2.1 is now out on the app store.
              • The latest TrackMyTour was pulled from the App Store due to a new bug with photo support. A new version that fixes this problem has been submitted, and should be available in a week or two.

                  • Jim Hanlon Will the revised version update waypoints for the missing photos when released? Or will we have to edit the waypoints to add the photos?

                  • TrackMyTour Hi Jim... I think you'd need to edit and add the photos again. I'm really sorry about this. There's just no way around Apple's tight control of how apps are released. However, I think I have your iPhone registered for betas. I'll send you an e-mail with details.

              • ‎(Cont' from prev.)

For example, if my map's URL were: http://trackmytour.com/2289#46826, you'd see that I'm "Ian Collis". But by changing one number, say to: http://trackmytour.com/4289#46826, I can now view "dwassmer"'s map.

How about if the URLs were:
                ... http://trackmytour.com/2289LoTT&#$%^_zasdfghj4@1%*#46826 ?

                Thanks! Great work.

                  • TrackMyTour Thanks for the suggestions. You are correct in the way that the URLs currently work in that you are readily able to access anyones maps. This was actually implemented as a design decision as we wanted to be able to promote ready sharing of maps. Thus far, requests for totally private maps have been few, but it could be something we will look at in the future if enough people request it.
