no, but if you are carrying thema round you need them in cases and if you are at a match you need a barrel blocker on it while carrying it around before starting a match.

For $150 you could snag the ECHO 1 G36C. From all of the reviews I have read, it's an all around great gun. ECHO 1 also makes some NICE MP5s in that price range as well.
