Chris Donnan Where to trick or treat in London? Our kids are dying for a good Halloween trick or treat and I am just not sure where to take them. We are in Chelsea presently but we would be willing to wander around London to get some trick or treat action - any suggestions would be *great*

Good luck getting the site back up!

Lisa Power

Lisa Power I seem to have locked myself out of the forum. I tried to change my email address and now it says I can't log in until I get an activation email. I haven't been able to get one of those either. Can you help me get back on?

UK Yankee There's light at the end of that there tunnel. I've got a restored database working, and I'm going to change a setting to try to resolve the pesky missing post issue. Will update when we're back online. :-)

Rebecca

Rebecca Hope things get sorted soon! I'm itching to post in the hitching post forum and add my name to the getting married in 2009 thread :D :D (BeccaJaneStClair here).

UK Yankee Unfortunately this attempt to restore the site from backup failed again. :-( I'm going to try a different way to restore the database from a plain database backup, but it's a massive 450mb file and will take several hours to upload. This means the next restore attempt will have to wait until tomorrow. Thanks for all the good wishes, it'll get sorted, it's just taking some time.
