7:30pm til 3am
Tickets £5 Advance from http://www.wegottickets.com/event/63595
On Door -... £5 b4 9pm, £6 after
The night kicks off at 7:30pm with good cheap food (no need to cook! yey!) and 2 of the best singer songwriters Bristol has to offer. Ian Perry and Tom Bellamy are without a doubt the best I have ever heard in Bristol. Make sure you ARRIVE EARLY as the music kicks off at 8pm sharp!
As well as a massive line-up of amazing music, we will also have the usual fun of a festival.. walkabout, facepainting, film projections, food, dress-up... if anyone wants to get involved with decor, do walkabout, set up a photobooth, or anything else you think will enhance the party, get in touch with Billy on 07935 243844.
Here's a quick rundown of the acts!
SAMSARA
All the way from Brighton, the mighty Samsara have been playing to packed audiences at festivals across the UK this summer. Now, to launch their new Album "The Great Unravelling", they are coming to Bristol and bringing their infectious blend of Ska, Gypsy Jazz, Reggae and Latin grooves with them. Knees up people!
www.myspace.com/samsara5
THE UNDERCOVER HIPPY (with full band for first time in Bristol!)
The Undercover Hippy and band have been a summer festival highlight for many this year. Mixing acoustic folk reggae vibes with political insight, crowd participation, and oodles of improvised silliness, these guys are always guaranteed to impress. First ever appearance with full band in Bristol!

OLD SCHOOL TIE
'Old School Tie bastardise genres as if the very word doesn't exist. The lucid tribal grooves soaked with layers of trance inducing guitar give Mystery Sound Playground a cathartic grace- an enchanting listen.'
(Andy Roberts. 'The Fly' November Issue)

SAM LINDO
With a voice that can make grown men cry, Sam Lindo is fast becoming one of the most inspiring singers Bristols Roots Reggae/Soul scene has to offer. Accompanied by a group of some of bristols best musicians, she is set to grace us with a fantastic performance that simply cannot be missed. Think Fat Freddy's Drop with a hot female singer!
The Compadres are one of bristols best loved latin bands. Funky basslines, Sanata-esque guitar solos and laid back latin grooves.
http://www.myspace.com/compadreslatinos
Tom Bellamy is one of Bristols most promising new singer songwriters, already developing a dedicated following. His music is beautiful and haunting and yet still visceral and direct. His masterful guitar playing combined with spellbinding lyrical storytelling and a unique and enchanting voice make this an act to savor. Come and see him before he get's signed...
http://www.myspace.com/tombellamy
"Bolan-esque in stature and talent he has the potential of a major league songwriter and performer. His first album "Ephphatha" hints at the genius lurking. Painfully shy and self-effacing until he gets on stage when he is possessed by the demons of jazz, soul and blues." BARRS Fest programme 2009.

DJ aSiNe (Bombdrop!)
DJ aSiNe will be milking the last drops of sweat out of our bodies during the final hours of the night with an onslaught of tummy rumbling Drum and Bass!
All night our host will be Craig "Rainbow Ninja" Reynolds (poet and freestyler extraordinairre, BODY ENGLISH)

Hey Guys!
It's
getting close! Oct 23rd is set to be the best night in Bournemouth's
recorded history. The only other night even slightly comparable is now
only remembered by Edna Grace, aged 103. Details of the event are
sketchy due to her altzheimers, but apparently it was a cracker.
Anyway, this is gonna be even better!
Pl...ease please please go
and add yourself to the Facebook event so that other's will see it in
your news feed. And then click on the share button, wherever you see
it!
SPREAD THE WORD and make this a night to remember! :)
