Oh wow, Cindy and Frank ... Super early on that question. We LOVE IT.

Starting in mid-January we'll be sending out housing contracts to students who have submitted their enrollment commitment form and designated that they wanted housing. After we receive contracts back we will e-mail a link to a housing questionnaire, which will be part of the process used to determine who your roommate is. Of course if you select living in an LLC or double or triple rooms, that will be part of the process as well.

For those of you that can't wait ... in a couple weeks we will also be launching a "roommate finder" feature on MyUNHSpace. It won't be the official survey, but will help you to find and connect with individuals that you may get along with and can choose to put them down on your roommate request form when we do that as mentioned above.... I am an entering freshman (not a transfer student) this Spring, and My New Years resolution is to not let the fact that my dad was shot to death a little while ago effect my grades. Instead of dwelling on it and letting it over-come me, I will use it as a reminder..and inspiration, if you will..as to why I chose criminal justice as my major. I ... See Morewill exceed in my field of study, and when I graduate from UNH, my life's goal will be to prevent such crimes. If I am for some reason not able to prevent them, I will make sure to bring justice to the situation. That is my New Years resolution.

I'm hoping to go to the accepted student day on Jan. 30th & my mom was wondering if she would be able to set up a meeting with someone from the financial office. Would that be possible?
& also could we pay the $400 then to lock in my spot or would that be risky, since it's so late? Thank You! :)

Hi Jamie,

There will be financial aid officers at accepted student day. Bear in mind that they won't be able to help with much until you file the FAFSA. They will begin to process FAFSAs in mid-February. Of coursethey will be happy to answer general questions that day.

As for your enrollment commitment fee, the earlier the better. Especially since it IS refundable up until May 1.
