United Way of Utah County The Central Utah Center for Independent Living is looking for volunteers this Thursday the 19th. Someone has a wheelchair lift that needs to be moved, and it would just take several people lifting to move it; the project would take about an hour. Volunteers are needed to help provide financial education for clients of the VITA program. This free tax preparation program brought $4.6 million dollars into the hands of low-income Utah County residents last year and we want to be sure that they are able to use it to their greatest advantage.

United Way of Utah County UPDATE: The Utah County Health Department will be administering the H1N1 vaccine again today from 8:30 to 4:30, while supplies last. They are only servicing the first priority groups.
United Way of Utah County UPDATE: The Utah County Health Department received more FluMist, so they are back to administering the vaccine to children 6 mo. to 24 years, adults 25-49 who care for children, and pregnant women.
