University of Rhode Island Using four simple questions to generate client-directed feedback can greatly increase the chances that struggling couples will stay together. This is the finding of the largest clinical trial with couples to date – which was co-authored by University of Rhode Island Human Development and Family Studies Professor Jacqueline Sparks, whose research was featured in Providence Business News this week.

University of Rhode Island Professor Richard Pollnac was featured last night in this story on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered" program examining the challenges to protecting coral reefs in the South Pacific. Apparently, cutting back on the number of commercial fishing permits just increases the number of recreational fishermen who catch almost as many fish.

Tonight at 9, watch as Prof. Robert Ballard leads an expedition of URI researchers and students in search of sunken warships from the epic World War I Battle of Gallipoli. Before and after the show, Nat Geo rebroadcasts programs about Ballard's search for the Titanic and for ancient ships in the Black Sea.

Washington (CNN) – Heading into the critical 2010 midterm elections, CNN will launch a new weekday political program that will be hosted by award winning correspondent John King.

The event - hosted by the Student Entertainment Committee - includes a meet-and-greet with Astin after the show. Student tix are $7. SEC also will give away free tickets to Lauren Conrad's show at the Ryan Center Monday night.
