Nikolai Kleven

Nikolai Kleven I have a question. It seems that the Embassy receives a lot of visitors. However, when I was there I was asked to leave immediately, and not in a nice way. I tried to explain that I was an American college student living and studying in Oslo for the semester. But the guard still told me to leave immediately. As I have ...never been inside a US Embassy, I would like to visit it. I was just wondering how this might be possible. I am not sure if this is the correct place to air a grievance like this but I don't know where else to do it.

US Embassy Oslo
Hi Nikolai! Unfortunately, due to security concerns, it is not possible to visit the Embassy without having an appointment, either at an office meeting or a scheduled event. But also when we have scheduled events, the visitors are only allowed in the basement of the Embassy (where the high school visit photos are from). We truly apologize if you were rejected and asked to leave in a rude way – that should never happen!!
