UW-Eau Claire's Symphonic Choir and University Symphony Orchestra presented Handel's "Messiah" on Nov. 22 in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
The Symphonic Choir, directed by Dr. Alan Rieck, associate professor of music, specializes in the study and performance of music composed for chorus and orchestra.

EAU CLAIRE — Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Chris Koza will return to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for three free concerts Nov. 20-21. His shows in The Cabin of Davies Center will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 8 p.m., and Saturday at 8 p.m.

EAU CLAIRE — The Griffin Theatre Company of Chicago will present "Letters Home" Nov. 19 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The Artists Series performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Zorn Arena.

On Nov. 16 and 17, the Opera Workshop Ensemble performed "Bel Canto: Scenes from the Masters of Italian Opera."
For the first time in the ensemble's history, the recital was performed in the original Italian with English supertitles.
The recital was directed by Dr. Mitra Sadeghpour with musical direction by Dr. Jessica... Riley. Students Lani Lutz and Koryna Flores were the choreographers and the performance accompanist was Andrew Steffen.Read More
