To stay fresh you HAVE TO listen to what's happening now...radio, videos, etc! You have to watch and listen and hang with people who are 20-30 years younger. Clive is a very smart man.

And also until you've experienced sexual harassment first hand it's hard to imagine how you would be treated in the workplace by your employers. I've known both men and women who have been sexually harassed by a boss and were not able to do anything about it.

Ms. Johnston, you now live in a predominantly Muslim 3rd-world country. How are gender relations and equality or parity for women there?
We in the US at least have the freedom to strive for equality by sex, race etc. If we don't move forward in these areas, there is not much hope for women in 3rd world countries to even get justice or respect, much... Read More less parity. On the subject of late-night comedy, the entertainment business is probably one of the most entrenched and sexist places that women can venture to get a toe-hold in, and you have to be pretty tough and very talented to do well. If Ms. Scovell only lasted a few months, I think it says more about her talent and ability than sexism on the job. Letterman's comedy can be scathing and visceral - don't you have an idea of what you're getting into? And who cares about his sex life?

This is my favorite book of all time. We took our 11+7 yr old boys to see the movie. I think the review is dead on. I loved the movie, except for the extreme personification of the wild things (i agree that they talked too much). My 11 yr old loved it. My 7 yr old said it was "too loud and too sad". True dat.
