Velvet Unfortunately, the Velvet Help Desk will be closing down today as the lease has expired. A big thank you to Karen from Refreshers Cafe for giving us space for our information point. We are working with Eastleigh Borough Council and hope to come up with a more permanent arrangement in the future. In the mean time people will be able to find me out and about in the bus station if you need any help! Mikey :)
Velvet Don't forget! New timetables on Velvet C and Velvet E8 are now in operation. Please check and check again before you travel! Also, due to ongoing roadworks the bus cannot turn into South Miller's Dale. Instead, the bus will continue down Hursley Road, past Sutherlands Way and pick passengers up at any safe place where the bus can stop along the short diversion. Thanks for bearing with us!

Whooaahh! If anyone has a problem with the service that a different bus/coach operator other than Velvet provides, then this is not the place to put it! There is absolutely no point writing negative stuff about other companies here as the managers won't read about the problem, and if they don't know about it then they ...can't do anything to rectify the issue! just to say thank you Velvet i went on the bus yesterday and being on crutches they are a pain the driver lowered the floor for me which not a lot of drivers do

Velvet Barton Peveril College half day next Wednesday: - 601, 603, 612 and C1 will all follow their normal route, departing the College at 1300 (buses on site by 1250) - 611 and 618 will be combined on to one double deck bus, numbered 611, also departing College (stand 9) at 1300 (on site by 1250). - Students needing to catch the A will need to wait for the scheduled service A at 1321. Hope this makes sense!
