Join us at Verge Gallery this 2nd Saturday for Magic Window, a group exhibition featuring 11 contemporary west-coast painters - David Fiveash, Jacob Fossum, Gale Hart, Cynthia Horn, Rhia Hurt, Patrick Marasso, Robert Minervini, S Patricia Patterson, Andrew Patterson-Tutschka, Gina Tuzzi, and Sara Wanie. In the front ...gallery you can find some great holiday gift ideas - small works by Verge’s studio artists along with books from previous exhibitions.
Also, Verge is hosting a food and toy drive for families in need, so please bring some canned foods and toys for the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.

Verge Gallery & Studio Project Last night's open house was so great! Don't worry if you couldn't make it out, just come by and see us this weekend. The food and toy drive will be going on through December 19 so stop by with some canned goods or an unwrapped toy for those in need. Happy holidays!

In addition to an opening night preview of The Magic Window, an exhibition of contemporary painting, Verge guests will be treated to live performances by CORE Dance Collective, tours of our studio project, treats and cider for the kids, as well as tasty snacks and drinks.
Verge will also be collecting unwrapped toys an...d canned goods for families in need through the months of November and December so please bring a gift or food item to share.
You don't want to miss this festive evening of art, food, and friends!

Come join us at the Verge Gallery for 2nd Saturday. Our current exhibition Women On Nature, curated by Emily Prince, features artists Amy Balkin, Sara Bright, Renee Delores, Sunaura Taylor, Lindsey White, and Sierra Zumwalt.
Through a wide array of methods, from paper glaciers to a virtual proposal for making the atmosp...here a protected park, these artists all investigate our human manipulation of the natural world, and they do so through a dynamic combination of the conceptual, the visceral, and the aesthetic. The exhibition will feature a mixed-media installation, painting, sculpture, photography, and a large-scale projected website, as well as a temporary library housing books that have inspired the specific pieces in the show.
Together these unique works pose questions about how we relate to the environment, how we are nature, and even the potential for new directions.
