I've seen some of the Sugar Makers at the Post Office mailing out Vermont Maple Syrup in the rectangular Medium Flat Rate box, or even the Large Flat Rate Boxes are the way to go... for about $11.05 or $14.65 with Delivery Confirmation you can send what every you can fit in the box... Syrup, cheese, etc... as long as t...he box doesn't become odd shaped and closes... great for 1/2 gallons, quarts, what ever fits. Use www.shipgooder.com to see how much this saves you!!! these are awesome!Read More

LOL... yes I do happen to work at the Post Office too... that's why I've seen them mailing out the stuff... but the savings is real!!! No USPS upsell involved. (and yes really small containers, going really close might be better in another box, but not often when talking Vermont Maple Syrup...)

Marcia Mccormick

Marcia Mccormick Travelling with syrup is tough! It's too big a liquid for carry-on. It's too steal-able for checked luggage, it's too heavy to ship. My only recourse, and one I actually prefer, is to go by train with it.

Desiree

Desiree I just want to say that I'm leaving all of my fan pages in protest of
Facebook's recent changes. No offense to the lovely people of this, who
I am a fan of, but I can't take these changes they have been making,
and its making it nearly impossible to be a part of actually active
groups.
