On the occasion of World Drug Day, UNODC premieres its public service announcement on youth and health. The PSA follows four young people as their health deteriorates as a result of continued drug use. The video spot calls on the young to protect their health from drugs.
Peru: From coca to palm oil
Until the mid-1990s, Peru was the number one producer of coca in the world. Today, instead of being involved in the illegal cultivation of coca bush, several thousand Peruvian farmers are cultivating crops as diverse as cacao, coffee and trees from which they get oil and heart of palm. UNTV/UNODC
