Inspired by the Academy Award-winning hit movie, Slumdog Millionaire, Portland-based kid bands Still Pending and Blind Einstein, along with special guests Social Appetite and The Vibrations are hosting a concert to benefit Mercy Corps programs for children around the world. When the staff at McMenamins caught wind of this great event, they graciously offered to host it at the Crystal Ballroom. At least 50% of ticket sales (only $10!) for this great, family-friendly event will go directly to Mercy Corps. The more people who turn out for the event, the higher this percentage will go! This will be a rockin' fun show for the entire family, all for a great cause. Come out and show your support to these amazing kids in their efforts to give something back with their music.
