Although I think this exhibition by Jennette Williams is extremely interesting and profound, I have to agree with Courtney Han's critique. I feel like I could find myself on both sides of the argument in her critique. If I were with my friends just walking through Perkins and I randomly came across this exhibition, I would probably be taken ... See Moreback and perceive the images of the naked women negatively. However, if I saw this exhibition as a part of my CDS class or on a visit to the Nasher museum, I definitely would have a different perspective on the pictures. I would be able to appreciate the collection as Williams had in mind for her audience, for it truly depicts beauty in a very unique way. Therefore, Han's critique brings out a great suggestion as she backs it up with valid concerns.

I agree with Courtney Han's critique in that I think this exhibition could be somewhere else. I personally think that the hallways of Perkins Library is not the best place to exhibit such photos. First of all, many students like freshmen don't even know and don't even go through that hallway. Most students go through the main doors or the doors ... See Morebetween Perkins and Bostock Libraries. Also, many of the students are too busy to stand around and look at the photographs. Even if they look at them for a few seconds, as stated in the critique, people might get "grossed" out by the photographs. I agree with Courtney Han that this exhibition will be better appreciated in art museums or CDS.
