Talking about the Blues Symphony - Movement V [HD]
by
Wynton Marsalis
3:14
Movement V incorporates the sounds of New York City: concrete, steel and glass. It's a big orchestration with many chords but still keeps the form of the blues.

Not sad! Sounding pretty good. Your dad was right about learning the piano. Helps with orchestration. I knew a voice major who wanted to teach a choir , but had a hard time picking out the notes. Its' an essential tool. Speaking of desolate, reminds me many years ago preparing for my senior recital. lol

thanks for sharing! It always helps when the musician is there to explain the structure and theory behind the music. Esp. with complex stuff.

Sounds great! I think you play the piano pretty well. I can only pound out notes. I'll stick to the string/electric bass.

Yep we won't talk about your piano playin' its the concept that you are creating that is of importance! With modern tech its great to beable to hear your creations at its virgin state like this. Its a closenss of the creator of a piece that makes it so great to hear and observe. Looking forward to hearing the finished product.
