Heather Zempel - How do you deal with a "constant talker"?

2:28
A native Alabamian, I invested my parent’s money and six years of my life at Louisiana State University earning bachelors and masters degrees in biological engineering. I left Cajun country and applied my newly acquired skills as a consultant at an environmental engineering firm and later as a policy advisor in the United States Senate. I now engineer environments that foster community and spiritual growth as the discipleship pastor at National Community Church in Washington, DC. My amazing husband Ryan and I can be found on Capitol Hill enjoying theater (from the audience or the stage) and settling arguments with Webster’s Dictionary. Great job Heather. I think I was a "Daniel" when I was a teenager, but now that I'm on the other side of it as a leader, I see the negative impact it can have on a group. I love that you had a relationship where you could go to him like that and create the "rabbit trail" sign. Fun stuff. Good way to handle it.

When questions are opened to ... See Moreeveryone, the "constant-talkers" always speak up first, so another helpful hint is to ask specific people for answers to questions so that everyone is included.
