St John's Institution Alumni Pipe Band leading the way by playing Scotland The Brave(famous tune) and followed by Cock O' The North. The band was invited by ex President of the MBSOBA, Mr. Jonson Chong for the 2007 110th anniversary dinner of our beloved school, MBSKL.

Yes, we can have the Boys Brigade to perform in school everyday, but not a top brass/woodwind band like SJI's everyday. Overall, they are playing bagpipes, not a common woodwind instrument in schools in KL, we should be grateful =D

Thanks for the comments. In my personal (with emphasis on the word personal) view, I think this band was used because it was for escorting the VIPs entering the hall. The BB band is a larger marching band and would not be suitable for this type of performance. If you say ask the BB to play on stage as one of the presentation items, then maybe yes.
