Common sense by everyone will make for a good day.
Cars, cyclists, must be patient and courteous. I am a cyclist, and a driver, therefore I have to exercise good behavior when in traffic. No one should ever get hurt or have a collision in any way out there.

1. learn to ride a very straight line. Be predictable.
2. make eye contact with drivers. tell them what you want them to do. Tell them!
3. predict what drivers are going to do. Think!
3. signal with your hands and point aggressively to show where you want to go.
4. keep away from parked cars and the curb, even if this means you are out in traffic. hog the lane if you have to. drivers will not hit you from behind. ignore the honks.... See More
5. stay away from the curb
