Checking legitimate sources has not, in my experience, indicated that in general snopes is unreliable, or that they are incorrect about the particulars of this specific story. Nor have you presented anything in support of such claims.

I like the soundness of the argument in the video but it is undercut by attributing it to Einstein. As many mention above, it is doubtful he offered it. And even if he did, it does not give it any more or less validity.
