I have been proud of the efforts of the current labor party in it's term so far. What seems to be of recent concern is the alarmist response of offensive re: against the Sri Lankan immigrants being held, to symbolically not yield in an effort to remain on a level with the Liberal party is pathetically weak, not strong or hardlined. See More much more representative of the worlds public at large and appreciated widely if the Labor party being the current Australian government utilised the often forgotten term of 'treating others the way you would like to be treated'. I'm not sure anyone on this facebook page would submit to being treated the way the Sri lankan immigrants are at the moment. Have a heart and listen to their story, listen to their plight, there are children involved. Show some respect for human life and for Australians like myself that have supported the labot party. And leave the contrived hardlined 'I'm not sirry for being hard on people smuggling' for more appropriate instances. This doesn't appear to be one of them in isolation. No one has listened to or explain their situation as of yet which is appauling.
