What is Osteoarthritis? What causes osteoarthritis, and can we prevent it from occurring?

Very interesting paper out of the MIT. It turns out that if steroid injections are administered soon after an injury to one of our joints, it is likely that we can delay or perhaps even prevent degeneration or injury to the cartilage surface and thus prevent the onset of post traumatic osteoarthritis.

- Anne Marie Cunningham Very interesting- link to paper? What do you think are the best summaries of the natural history of arthritis?
