VISIT Milwaukee What do you think about a new lakefront restaurant? What should it look like? What kind of food should it serve? http://bit.ly/7iYaiS Milwaukee philanthropist Michael Cudahy has talked to prominent Milwaukee restaurant operator Joe Bartolotta about locating a restaurant in the former Pieces of Eight restaurant property on Milwaukee’s lakefront.

I love the site of the old Pieces of Eight. The outdoor patio was one of the best in the city. Definitely keep that. Bartolotta would do a terrific job as he has with his other establishments! As it's on the water, a menu with some seafood would be great.

It would be great to have a restaurant that serves more than hot, brown and plenty of it. Something different. Take a trip to Seattle and San Francisco before building anything.
